She has given solo recitals in over 30 cities across China under Poly Theatre Management, establishing herself as one of the leading pianists of her generation.

Tianyu was invited to the Aspen Music Festival as a Polonsky Foundation Fellow, mentored by Veda Kaplinsky (The Juilliard School). She also attended the Lucerne Piano Festival Masterclass, performing Bach’s Goldberg Variations publicly at 18 and presenting them internationally. At age 11, she was named a “Wonder Kid” by Toronto City TV in a nationwide feature. She is the Grand Prix winner of the 29th Scholarship Pianists’ Tournament in Poland, where she also received the Special Prize for Best Interpretation of Chopin, and performed for the Presidents and First Ladies of Poland and China at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Her performances and artistic achievements have been featured by China Daily News, Music Weekly, Piano Artistry Magazine, and RTHK Hong Kong, among others.

Tianyu earned her Master’s degree with highest distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Poland, studying under Wojciech Świtała, following earlier studies at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv with Arie Vardi. Her artistic development was further shaped by mentorship with Christoph Eschenbach, Murray Perahia, Dmitri Bashkirov, and Andrzej Jasinski.

Since the pandemic, Tianyu has expanded her artistry beyond classical piano into songwriting and music production, eventually finding her voice in EDM and progressive house.

Now based in London, she collaborates with award-winning producers on new releases that fuse her classical background with storytelling-driven electronic production. Her sound blends melodic structure, cinematic depth, and emotional energy, bridging the worlds of concert music and modern dance culture. Tianyu also performs as a DJ, debuting at London’s iconic Ministry of Sound in 2025.

Her original music has also appeared in film and television, including the series Forty Nine Days·Fiesta, and she performed the opening theme for The Power Source, which reached #6 on the China Music Billboard.

Beyond music, Tianyu is an actor with screen credits in The CW’s Kung Fu (Season 3) and multiple international commercials. Initially scouted as a model while studying in Israel, she discovered a passion for on-camera performance through collaborations with global brands such as MAC and Natasha Denona. Tianyu holds an Acting Diploma from the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts (VADA) and has trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA)in London, bringing a cross-cultural, multidisciplinary perspective to her work across music and film.
